This place is hidden away but easy to get to, close to Quebec City and the beautiful Montmorency Falls with a charming island view; also, the restaurant nearby is a great dining option.

This place has a wonderful location that is perfect for a trip; the room I stayed in was romantic with air conditioning, a balcony, and a beautiful view.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location was peaceful and full of history, just a short walk from a scenic spot.

Our room was very, very warm even with a ceiling fan and small table fan. We realized, however, that the weather was unusually warm and humid, so typically there is probably not a need for air conditioning.

The location was stunning and excellent, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Chocolaterie de l'ile d'orleans. Had really well appointed room with wonderful view as well as a balcony, and protected with smoke detectors. The place had a contemporary atmosphere.

The units here are a nice size with a beautiful view and a terrace, and the location by the river is unbeatable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Saint-Laurent-de-l'ile d'Orleans. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the St. Lawrence River. The charming mansion added to the overall ambiance of the place. Exploring the village of Ste Petronille and touring Ile d'Orleans were highlights of my trip. Plus, it only took me a short drive to reach downtown Quebec City.

Although I would have preferred the pool to open earlier, I still managed to relax by the poolside. The absence of air conditioning in the room was a minor inconvenience, but the cool river breeze made it manageable.

Hi Folks: My husand and I loved your hotel. It was so relaxing, we could have stayed for a week if our travel plans allowed it. We will certainly be back. The island seaway location was very nice as expected when booking at the auberge rather than in the city. Drive to and from the old town was easy and having the falls nearby was a bonus. Sitting outside and looking at the big ships going by from time to time was a pleasure.

The hotel itself was a disappointment, at least our "comfort queen room". The bathroom was small. Two of the three lights did not work and could only be fixed by getting a multisocket extension cord because the plugs themselves did not work. The internet signal was very weak; even when finally getting online, the connection would drop and reconnect. There was a coffee maker in the room but they forgot to put a coffee sack. We got one later but had to wait since there was no one at the reception early on Sunday morning. All of the above are minor inconveniences - but this was for a room that cost 188$ on Saturday night plus taxes, without breakfast. The lesson is simple - avoid going to this hotel on the weekend unless you have no reason to be concerned about value for money. The hotel location and ambiance itself would be well worth the mid-week rate and minor inconveniences. Also, you should be aware when choosing this room and hotel: no TV, no air conditioner, no nearby stores for drinks or convenience foods.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in the breathtaking location of the St. Lawrence River. The hotel itself was a charming mansion with a beautiful view of the river. The rooms were comfortable and even had private balconies, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery right from my room. The staff provided excellent service, paying attention to even the smallest detail. The breakfast offered was delicious, starting my day off on a high note.

Everything was fantastic during my stay.

It is quiet, classy, excellent cuisine. Staff is friendly, discrete, attentive. Rooms are quiet (no tv or radio), all have tremendous view on the Saint Lawrence River. And l'île d'Orléans is charming. It is close to Québec (City) - 20 - 25 minutes, but allows its residence to get away from noise and crowds. Clientèle is quiet - rowdies would not feel at home !
